The wine glass based on the shape of a period cup turned into a chair similar to what Marta Del Valle did with the Merlot chair. It’s interesting to think about our associations with different kinds of things depending on experience and perspective. For example, some people might not give the shape of this chair a second thought. Meanwhile others make the connection to the item that the shape arrives from. Mostly women I assume. Can you disconnect to the origin of the shape and its use to not be bothered.
