The book chair Málfríður

I designed and made Málfríður the book chair the year 2013, right before my solo exhibition at the Borgarbókasafnið in Reykjavík during DesignMarch in Iceland. The frame is made out of steel. The chair has also been a part of the exhibition ‘The Art of Being Icelandic’ at Reykjavík City Hall in the summer of 2013.

The chair has been exhibited at the library since my exhibition there and has been popular on their social media, where you can see people sitting in it.
