Fruit slide

The Fruit Slide is one of the largest and most recognized works I have created. I produced the technical drawings while the construction was completed by hand, taking approximately seven hours to fabricate.

The piece is functional yet playful, as fruits roll down one by one when taken, and its sculptural form adds visual presence to the kitchen. It was designed to make kitchen cleaning easier and to present fruit attractively.

The project received over a thousand inquiries, mostly through Pinterest, which led me to attend a seminar on running a company and to found a small business to produce it. Despite numerous attempts to manufacture the slide at scale, the project ultimately proved unfeasible and was not commercialized.
