Das Boot is a series of boot sculptures created as part of a modeling class at Designschool Kolding. The central piece is the original boot.
The left sculpture is made from autumn leaves collected during walks, reflecting the colors of the boot and blending with the environment, which inspired recreating the boot in natural material. The right sculpture is made from aluminum foil, inspired by my chocolate consumption and the reflective texture of Bauhaus catalogs, echoing the shiny qualities of the original boot.
The series explores material experimentation, texture, and translating everyday objects into sculptural forms.
